Donald Trump is a coward

Donald Trump needs to go away. This most recent garbage when he didn’t correct the questioner at the rally turns my stomach. When the whack-a-loon insisted that we have a problem called “Muslim” and that President Obama is a Muslim (he’s not) nor an American (he is) Donald “Who would vote for that face?” Trump should have stopped the man and said, “Sorry sir. Mr./President Obama and I don’t agree. But he’s a Christian and he’s an American citizen. Do you have a question?” Instead, he made his rally a place for ethnic, race and religious baiting.

I don’t care much what religion Obama is but that’s because I don’t care much for most religion. To my mind, whether he’s a moderate Christian or a moderate Muslim or a moderate Jew wouldn’t make a lick of difference to me. I think he’s probably a non-believer but that’s just conjecture.

And he’s an American citizen who was born in Hawaii in 1961. His birth certificate is hiding in plain sight.

Donald wants to court conspiracy theorists and be adulated. Trump’s no leader. He’s a coward. He does what’s easy for him. A leader goes where it’s difficult to go, leans into the conflict to grow from it, listens and learns and sometimes backs out when they aren’t the right person to do what needs to be done. Trump’s only an opportunist. He avoids conflict, becomes defensive and bullies people, especially women.

It’s heartening to see some of the Republican candidates like Lindsey Graham, John Kasich and Chris Christie standing up for the right thing.
